I’m Shawn the hoof guy, owner of McMahan’s Hoofcare. I’m a farrier based in Penn Valley, California, specializing in steel-free hoof care of donkeys, mules, horses, and other hooved animals.
Donkeys are my specialty! I work with donkeys at liberty and sedation free. I do this through trust building, minimal restraint, and working together with you and your animals to ensure a safe, happy, and well behaved donkey that wants to be trimmed!
